Learners in academic environments have wide ranging needs. There may be requirements to improve levels of English before a course of study, or to reach a specific level of proficiency in English alongside their studies. Other learners may need specialist support to help them use English within their discipline. In some cases, English may not be compulsory, but your student body will benefit from efficient, self-guided study to help them access information in English online, or to help them communicate at a later stage in their career.
Implementation is easy, and risk-free. We work closely with every one of our academic partners to advise on courses and set-ups that best suit the needs of the student body. We provide full training and on-going support to make sure every member of staff is comfortable using the platform and the reporting tools, and is familiar with the learning content.

IELTS Exam Practice (B1 & B2 courses)
IELTS B1 and IELTS B2 are separate self-study courses, designed for learners who need to improve their test scores in the Academic IELTS exam. All IELTS courses help students develop test-taking strategies, increase their vocabulary and improve their skills with realistic IELTS test material. Our Academic Vocabulary course is also included free of charge.
English for Academic Purposes (B1)
Aimed at B1 learners, this course is focused on improving academic listening and reading skills in preparation for further study in English whist at university. Topics cover a range of subject disciplines including content that is designed to mirror university lectures and reading. Our Academic Vocabulary course is also included free of charge.
Blended Courses (B1 - B2)
Available with both the B1 and B2 Academic IELTS courses, blended or flipped learning offers an alternative to a traditional coursebook and a substantial saving on resources. 45 digital lessons are complemented by 45 teacher led lessons with clear lesson aims and how-to notes that will help save on preparation time, with a specific focus on output and speaking skills. Blended lessons can be delivered as stand alone PDFs, in Word format, and with audio files where applicable.
